Does God know who you are? Does He know that you will train your children to follow Him and keep His ways?  Have you considered that the choices you are making today will affect generations to come?  I was reading a study this not long ago.  It was a comparative study of two families and how each family’s choices affected future generations.  One followed an ungodly man who did not believe in Jesus Christ and who refused to take his children to church.  The other study followed the family of the great preacher, Jonathan Edwards.

            The generations that followed the ungodly man’s family produced prisoners, prostitutes, and alcoholics – generations of people making no positive contribution to society.  However, in the generations that followed Jonathan Edwards there were ministers, university presidents an professors, authors, congressmen, and one vice-president of our nation.  His descendants contributed immeasurably to society!
