ARE YOU SPIRITUALLY PREPARED FOR YOUR DAY?
October 14, 2009

Proverbs 31:15 “She rises while yet it is night and gets spiritual food for her household...”

The Word of God is spirit, not law.  When it says she rises while it is night and gets spiritual food for her household, it means that spiritually we are ready, we are prepared, we are in touch with God on a regular, consistent basis.  When we are going about our day, we are prepared spiritually for the day.

Some people get up in the morning, race to get out the door and three hours later they remember God.  They have no consciousness of who God is and so in trying to live life as a virtuous, strong woman, they are very weak.  It is through Christ that we are made strong.  It’s through His power, His anointing, and His help, that we are able to renew our minds and overcome in situations of life.  We cannot renew our minds on our own.  We cannot deal with our children, our friends or with business situations on our own.  We cannot successfully deal with anything on our own.  We have to be in touch with the Spirit of God and if we don’t make it a regular habit, then we will fail.  We are going to be mad, irritated, and defeated in life because we are not getting spiritual strength from God!

We must get spiritual strength from God on a consistent basis.  Through praying, music CD’s or listening to teaching tapes we must do whatever our schedule permits, to sometime in the day spend a concentrated time with God.  This will strengthen our relationship with Him!

Walk Strong Daily!

Often times I am awakened in the early morning hours, and I find comfort by sitting quietly, reading scriptures, and praying. In the morning, I sing praise songs on the drive to work and I feel in touch with the Lord; as though we had a great conversation and are in tune with one another. Lo, I am always with you!
