Have you ever been caught outside in the rain without an umbrella? I have and it’s no fun! Many of us make sure we are prepared for bad weather, keeping our umbrella or rain boots handy, but do we make sure we have the protection of God’s Word ready for those times we face the storms of life?

Financial, health, family, relationship and career storms will come and go in life, but we will overcome when we have the protection of God’s unchanging Word in our hearts, in our mouths and at our fingertips. In Joshua 1:8 He has promised that when you meditate on the Word of God and keep His Word in your mouth and do what is written, then you will “make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” What a great promise we have from God!  He will make a way for us, even when it seems like there is no way.

God in His wisdom has Words of faith in the Bible for every circumstance of life, sunny days and stormy days, which will empower us to daily live in victory. For this same reason, Casey and I put together a little topical Bible, called God’s Word for Every Circumstance, which has scriptures listed by topics, such as health, finances and family. These scriptures will strengthen us in areas which need building up so that we can walk through any storm, looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
