One of my favorite memories is when I was just a young teenager. My mom came into our kitchen and asked my two sisters and me what we thought about our family adopting a baby from Korea. We were instantly excited as we yelled, “Yes! Yes! Yes!” Only a few months later, I was holding my new baby sister in my arms, loving her with all of my heart. To this day, she is one of my dearest friends and greatest blessings from God.

Even as excited as we were that day in the kitchen, God was so much more excited the day you accepted Jesus into your heart and became adopted into His family. After all, Your Heavenly Father paid the dear price of His only Son just to be able to call you His child. Let’s learn to live in the confidence of His love every day of our lives; to be able to say, like the Apostle Paul, that there is absolutely nothing on this earth that could ever separate us from His love. Because it’s only in that place of trust that we will be able to become the powerful men and women He has called us to be, and to share His love with everyone around us. Let’s Walk Strong, knowing we truly are God’s kids!
