One day, when I was in Bible College, I was sitting on my bed reading my Bible. As I was reading, the Holy Spirit illuminated a scripture in Galatians to me. It was like a light bulb went off in my head and I could clearly understand what this scripture was teaching me.

But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. (Galatians 6:4)
There has never been a scripture in my Christian walk that has affected me more than this scripture. That day, it was as if God took an arrow, pierced my heart, and said, “This is for you. I want you to understand it personally, and I want you to share it with others.”

I realized that the meaning of this verse had everything to do with my self-worth-- and yours-- because it has to do with knowing who you are in Christ, knowing the person God created you to be, and having the confidence to be able to “rejoice in yourself.”
Because of how this scripture has worked in my life through the years, I have succeeded in fulfilling my destiny. I’m doing what God has called me to do up to this point in my life-and it is so satisfying and peaceful!

I challenge you to find out who you are in Christ, walk in that peace God has for you and Rejoice in Yourself!
