The greatest calling on your life is to be the best you there is.  Galatians 6:4 – one of my favorite verses – set me free to be the best me I can be: But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
 
In examining myself, I had to stop looking at other people, comparing myself to them and with what I considered to be ideal.  Something inside of me made me think that I wasn’t smart enough.  In reality, I don’t have the ability (or the desire) to be a brain surgeon or a judge.  I am not an analytical type of thinker.  But because of my perception, I judged that type of occupation as smart, and since I don’t have the ability for those occupations, I judged myself as not smart….  And, since I couldn’t do either of those jobs, I decided I also couldn’t do any of the other things I had thought about.
 
How the enemy deceives us!
 
God never said I had to be smart in just one way.  All He wants is for me to be smart in my gifts and callings.  He wants me to do my best to walk in the ability that He put within me.  I don’t have to be smart in any of those other realms.  I am just one piece of the whole puzzle that He has anointed on the earth today.
 
As a member of the human race, just do your part by using the gifts and talents God has put within you.  You don’t have to be anything or anyone else!
